The Journey to Intelligent Work
When ChatGPT hit the airwaves earlier this year, we pivoted a lot of our research agenda just as we did with Covid. While AI has been around — and will be — it was this announcement that catapulted it onto the scene making it a household topic and cocktail party fodder. Who knew? Facebook and social? So yesterday.
Suddenly, LLMs became part of our vocabulary along with prompt engineering and hallucinations, a term no longer associated with illicit drugs and mental health ails.
It’s here, and here to stay, with deep implications for the industry we serve of which we are a part. We immediately began researching and writing and set a series of monthly meetings for our clients breaking down aspects of the topic that ran through our F2F meetings in June where we put on headsets and took clients on a journey through AR and VR applications.
Well, the Journey to Intelligent Work continues right through the Outsell Signature Event co-produced with JEGI Clarity this 3–4 October. The program is live and invitations to attend continue.
Chock-full of must-have topics, we will look at the Outlook and View from the Top — two traditions, through an AI lens. We’ll address trust and integrity in the experiences we offer as brands, employers, and solution providers. And we’ll address essential skills the leaders of tomorrow must embody as we prepare our companies to execute these technologies.
The event will review case studies about deployment examples and also focus on the tools and tradeoffs for use. Who to use? Why? Where are they going? When is Bard or ChatGPT better or the other half dozen or so contenders (as there are surely more.) We will debate the licensing issues and the ethical ones, too. And we will provide a brief on the essential regulatory issues to monitor before they bite. And we will face the existential questions too — look them in the eye, head-on.
