The Outsell Women’s Conference Closing Keynote: When to Jump

The Outsell Women’s Conference Closing Keynote: When to Jump

Our closing keynote at the Outsell Women’s Conference will be Mike Lewis, Founder, CEO of When to Jump. Mike felt the pull of doing something more meaningful in life and fulfilled his dream of writing a book that goes by the same name as his company. Or perhaps I should say the company follows the name of his wonderful book. Mike is a jumper. Not in the sense of jumping from job to job, but as a catalyst for meaningful change and for the change that calls to you and your heart. We wrote in the Insight announcing this year’s Outsell’s Third Annual Gender Diversity Study: Flat-Lining, that women are going to start voting with their choices. They’ll go to companies or not based on where the opportunity for advancement is offered and encourage. We have choices and one of our choices is to jump. Jump to a new company. Jump to a new career. Jump to something meaningful and new wherever your heart takes you. I can’t think of a better, more inspiring person to close our event this year. Because at the end of the day we all have choices and one of them can be to jump.

I had an arrogant executive tell me point blank recently he didn’t care whether his C-Suite had women on it or if it was diverse. He just wanted the best people. But if one isn’t conscious about how they hire the best and brightest they’re going to hire those that look like themselves or who they know and in this industry that means more of the same. I vowed right then and there I would never recommend this company to another soul while this person was in a position of purported leadership. We all have choices and we can choose where we work and who we work for and we can jump.

So come prepared to take home, quite literally a message on how to follow your heart. Because we only have one life to live and we ought to be doing it in ways meaningful to our soul. Are you a jumper? Come find out and join me in welcoming Mike Lewis as our closing keynote. I loved loved loved our call recently and cannot wait for you to meet him too. We have a special gift for you too. We’ve arranged for copies of Mike’s book to be yours so you have your personal reference guide for When to Jump.

Can’t wait to see you there! Do you have your ticket?
