The Outsell Signature Experience

As I’ve written about before, nothing has brought about more innovation and a need for agility than our response to the pandemic. On-again, off-again — the goal of getting people together continues to elude us, as our clients say they want to get together and then radio back that right now isn’t yet the time.
So, we decided to make this fall’s events the Outsell Signature Experience, co-produced with JEGI CLARITY. Rather than host digital council meetings for our members, then digital topical meetings, and then a discrete Outsell Signature Event, we are connecting the pieces into a full quarter’s worth of experiences all focused on the topic of innovation. Here’s what you can expect.
Our Outlooks will focus once more on the global economy, our industry, M&A, and again this year — drumroll, please — COVID-19. The program will kick off with Ryan Sweet from Moody’s Analytics, sharing once again his thoughtful and pragmatic analysis of the global economy. Outsell’s Ned May will unveil our 2022 Industry Outlook. JEGI CLARITY’s Wilma Jordan will focus us on the future of M&A and financing and what it means. And since the pandemic remains ever-present — along with our need to live with it — we will provide you the latest data and analysis on COVID-19 from an unbiased recognized expert to keep you up to date.
You’ll experience Case Studies describing the innovation that’s happening today in business models, community development, digital marketing, cultural change, the use of new technologies, and much more.
We’ll focus on FutureScapes, innovative looks at topics such as building a culture driven by AI/analytics, the ethics of data, avoiding bias in algorithms and analytics, and practical applications for blockchain — especially around IP management, which is so critical to our industry.
We’ll have opportunities for networking, with a concierge service running through most of the fall so that we can make sure you’re meeting the people you need to meet to exchange ideas, develop partnerships, and explore other opportunities. After all, our events are where deals get done. And we’ll make sure there’s a good social element as well.
Analyst Segment Views will focus on the latest innovation and key trends shaping each of the major sectors we cover. These live sessions will allow you to discuss key market conditions, users and how they’re changing, and the new developments promising to reshape the sector — supply-side innovation, customers and their evolving demands, and much more. You’ll be able to meet your Outsell analyst and compare notes with others in your sector.
The Outsell Signature Experience will run from just after Labor Day until December 15. We’re also planning some in-person sessions in London (COVID permitting) and maybe a regional cocktail hour or two. Some of the Outsell Signature Experience will be for members only and some by invitation to prospective clients and registered attendees. We promise a new future for events, some F2F, some hybrid, and much of it digital until we can safely get together next June, when we plan to host an in-person Outsell Signature Event and bring you all together.
The Outsell Signature Experience promises to be a quarter’s worth of experiences in short, sharp packages, all focused on the essential topics associated with innovation. Stay tuned for details and mark your calendars for the following key dates:
