Announcing the Outsell Signature Event — Date Change!
What a moving target events have been since February 2020, when the world began to shut down and then the doors clamped shut with a bang — all over the world, and almost at once! We moved to digital right away, and it was easier for us to do since we’d already been working with our clients that way for years. Zoom was part of our delivery experience in between face-to-face council meetings for CEOs, COOs, MDs, and presidents in the global data, information, and analytics economy. We also migrated the Outsell Signature Event, coproduced with JEGI CLARITY, to digital and held it that way in 2020 and 2021. We leveraged partner Intrado’s platform as well as Zoom.
This year, we decided we’d host in June 2022 instead of October so clients wouldn’t have had to wait three full years to get together face-to-face. But in the intervening time, Omicron hit, so we moved February meetings to March. With the meetings in March, June was upon us in a blink, and we realized it was too much too fast. We couldn’t plan fast enough — and neither could our clients.
Our leaders are telling us they want to work a trip around this event. They also had pent-up demand for their own travel commitments: board meetings, exec team offsites, client trips, etc. Even VACATION!
Giving our clients three months’ notice for an event was like giving them a week. Commitments for travel are on the docket, with their own travel requirements already at the fore.
So, we’ve pushed forward to our traditional time, and this year the Outsell Signature Event will be held October 11–12, 2022. We’ll announce the venue shortly and meanwhile ask you to mark your calendars to meet us on the east coast for the only event focused on bringing together global leaders operating in the data, information, analytics industry. It’s for CEOs, COOs, presidents, and MDs. It’s where the industry’s power convenes and deals get done. This year, in particular, there will be plenty of networking time, so you won’t want to miss out!
