Lots of Fodder for Upcoming Outsell CEO Meetings
We’re planning our upcoming council meetings, and the topics on our list run the gamut. After all, there’s never a shortage of topics among this industry’s CEOs.
Here’s what’s on leaders’ minds these days. If you are wrestling with any of these, give us a call — we’ve got answers:
- What does the economic recovery look like, and how do we plan for 2021? What scenarios are we opting for?
- What long-lasting changes in our portfolios are required, and what are members doing to augment or replace F2F selling and territory assignments in a WFH model?
- How are CEOs handling social inequality and responding to expectations that they have a POV both inside and outside the company? What does true D&I look like, and how do we meaningfully achieve it? What are members doing, and how are they responding?
- What do we think the world will look like post-COVID-19? Will there even be a “post-pandemic,” or is this like the flu — something we’ll live with on an on? How are WFH, the use of real estate, and maintaining and building culture evolving? What are leaders doing to ensure more flexibility as a permanent state of being as we go forward?
- How do our many leaders who operate events/exhibitions replace their lost revenue? Can they, or will they be forced to migrate to lower revenues but higher margins? Does this change the very nature of the executive teams we now require?
- How do we monetize data and use analytics to unearth new revenue streams or new operational workflows inside our own organizations?
- How do we maintain healthy work teams and keep them from exhaustion? How do we keep productivity high without causing burnout? We are using PTOs, mental health days, and company closings for long weekends. What else?
- How do we future-proof our products? How do we turn our audiences into communities and our physical events into thriving digital events with community wrapped around them?
- How do we maintain a culture of agility and innovation, which has been a blessing over the past six months?
- What is happening to customer budgets, and what will they look like in 2021?
Some clients have done in three months what they would have previously done in three years, and there is an insatiable appetite for more “how-to” information to help leaders run today’s modern information and analytics businesses. We will be discussing all this and more during our upcoming Outsell Leadership Community meetings (September 15–24) and at our upcoming Outsell Signature Event, co-produced with JEGI. Don’t miss out!
