In April 2017 Gartner concluded a deal it announced in January of that year, to buy CEB Inc. in a cash and stock deal worth $2.6 billion. One year later in January 2018. Informa announced the acquisition of UBM for £3.8 billion which it concluded in June of that year. So how are they doing? We’re delighted that Christian and Alex are joining us to share their thinking behind their acquisitions, what it was like to make deals of this magnitude happen. How it’s going a couple of years later and to share what pitfalls to avoid and opportunities to seize.
